Some of it is fluff, some of it is cute, and some really adds to the depth of the character.ДЇirst the fluff. But, as with most things, thereвЂ™s a little more to it in the LN. Especially since we get the cuteness of RyЕ«ji presenting Taiga as his fiancГ©e.

So, in the anime RyЕ«ji and Taiga show up at his grandparentsвЂ™ house at the end of episode 24, present the watch, pay their respects, and then at the beginning of episode 25 they move right into YasukoвЂ™s arrival.
